SHELTER POLICIES

Please note: We are not accepting public drop-offs at this time, including strays and owner surrenders.

Our current intake is limited to emergency cases coordinated through the Faulkner County Sheriff's Department, including:

Animals posing a danger to people or other animals
Animals that are injured or in medical distress
Situations involving cruelty or neglect
To report an animal-related complaint:
Contact the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Department Non-Emergency Line at 501-328-5906. A deputy will assess and respond as needed.

For immediate emergencies, such as an aggressive animal or animal bite, call 911.

Shelter Hours:
Monday–Friday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Saturday: 12 PM – 5 PM
Hours may vary due to staffing.

Right now, we are focusing on emergency cases only, in coordination with the Faulkner County Sheriff's Department.

These include:
- Animals endangering people or other animals
- Injured or in medical distress
- Cases involving cruelty or neglect

To report an animal complaint:
- Call the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Department Non-Emergency Line at 501-328-5906.
- Any calls in Greenbrier should be directed to Greenbrier’s non-emergency phone number (501-679-3105).
- A deputy/officer will be dispatched to assess the situation and take the appropriate steps.

If you, or someone you know, are in an active emergency such as an aggressive animal or animal bite, dial 911.
